About Gold and Girl

What began as a small hobby has grown into a family passion. Every hive is cared for with patience and respect for the bees, the environment, and the local community. We started keeping bees to be outside and learn from nature, and that slow, quiet work still fills the jars with care.

We use gentle, traditional methods passed down through generations, recipes, stories and hands-on know-how—so each jar carries a little of our family legacy and the local landscape it came from.

Our mission

We are focused on keeping bee populations strong so local plants, trees and flowers continue to be pollinated. Honey is a bonus: the main goal is healthy hives and a healthy planet.

As a beekeeper, I'm trying to do my part for the environment by producing lovely products while also teaching people about bee health and good hive care.

Community awareness

Varroa mites are a growing threat in Queensland and can damage wild and weak European honey bee hives. This makes local action and awareness even more important.

We encourage the community to plant more bee-friendly flora, support local honey, and help protect bees and the environment.
